So the keys are still encrypted on your servers and when I can’t login and I have not backuped the seed phrase I lose access to them, correct? I am asking because I once had my proton email address/account deactivated after one year use and it kind of was a big bumper for me losing a lot of logins with that.

If someone phish my email and password somewhere and manage to login to my proton it directly also encrypted and shows the seed pharse in proton? (Not everyone uses 2fa or is that mandatory). Thanks for answering!!!

Everything you need to secure your self using back up and write down your 12 seed phrase . They have provide recovery methods in case you lost access to your email .

You could never lost access to your bitcoin . Your coin yours your keys . Each address signed with PGP , and can generate new address every time after you transaction . I can not imagine someone would get email phishing .

It’s encrypt email , that person who manage to take control your encrypted email must be very high intelligent .

But if someone gets my email and password of my protonmail account they get access to those seed phrase, correct?

Actually phishing or leak https://haveibeenpwned.com/
