I personally hold the opinion that if you do not have a meaningful portion (25% or more) of your savings in sound money assets or assets that protect against inflation, you are going to experience regret over the next few decades. Of course, there are many things more important than money that will help you make it through difficult times. Physical health, fitness, a good diet, and a loving family and friends are all priceless.
