For you to live other things must die.
Coming to terms with this is a sign of maturity.

Cows and pigs mostly
Mostly insects & small animals if you're a human.
The cotton shirt that you're wearing resulted in more life lost than the steak that you're eating.
Make leather clothes cool again!
Truth.
And remember, the carnivore diet causes the least amount of animal death of any diet possible (only 1-2 cows per person per year)
Vegan causes the most (countless thousands of birds, squirrels, foxes, insects, etc. plus total environmental destruction to monocrop)
I remember watching "Sacred Cow: The Nutritional, Environmental and Ethical Case for Better Meat". There was a person who wanted to be vegetarian to avoid killing.
So she planted a garden... and got slugs on her lettuce. She realized she had to kill the slugs. So she thought about buying lettuce, but accepted that SOMONE would have to kill the slugs on THAT lettuce. She ended up at the same conclusion that you voice here.
I REALLY liked that they walked through her thought process like that and I expect it helped others arrive and the same reasonable conclusion.
A cosmic and eternal truth
and we call people who kill themselves so that others can live "cowards" because fuck logic
