Do you think all information should be free or do you believe that charging for information is acceptable? I'm interested in your opinion and reasoning on this matter.

Good morning everyone. I read through the thread below to catch up from last night. Wonderful discussion! It's inspired me to try a donation model for NostrGram (when it gets to that point).

I would very much prefer a model where those with the means and motivation to support this project do so without crippling the features for everyone else. We'll see how it works out. I'm much more hopeful now than I was before that discussion.

I would love to do nothing during my work week but focus on NostrGram and making the Nostr experience the absolute best I can for everyone. For me Nostr represents freedom from the controls of Big Tech, Big Government and Big Censorship. We the people need our own network outside of their grip. I believe Nostr is that network. May it be so. 🙏 #[1]

Good to hear that you have positive thoughts based on that discussion. It seems that interacting with users openly and seeking genuine feedback/discussion is how this is going to move forward to everyone's benefit. I also think that nostr users can keep in mind the hard work developers in nostr are putting in and keep interacting and rewarding those heroes whenever possible.😁

That's one of the things I love about Nostr. With no algorithms pushing people to the most controversial/rage-inducing content, the discussions are much more positive and educational.

I think it's also pretty cool that the devs on clients and relays are all in this together with us riff raff . We are all plebs, one and all. 😁
