Bitcoin Genesis Block

The Bitcoin genesis block, also known as Block 0, is the first block in the Bitcoin blockchain and was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto on January 3, 2009.

It includes a reward of 50 bitcoins and a message referencing a London Times headline about banks needing a bailout, which is seen as a critique of traditional banking systems.
