It appears that none of the the clients I use support images in DMs so here's the ones that yours reminded me of. You talked about the wheat paste & layers & he actually used layered advertising posters as the media for some of these (& I think some just emulate that style.)
I think he's more known for this type of work though. I used to drive by this in Lisbon all the time. He talked about using destructive processes (jackhammers, explosives, etc...) as creative techniques & I always thought that was a really neat concept.
