I've bought phones, some are really good, some suck. I'd say I've had about 50/50

tell me about the sucky ones

what has sucked?

battery and waterproofness?

I've had some poor battery ones, or internal damage that wasn't specified in the listing.

I also bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max that was still iCloud locked so you need to look out for that as well.

I would say the worst issues is battery and stripped out charging ports.

you bought a used one or a refurbished one from a licensed and credible vendor?

Same.

Phone was crap, could not charge any more after a few weeks.

Laptop bought in 2017 still works without problems

As long as you wipe the drive clean and don’t plan on using for bitcoin stuff, should be ok. But I generally never do this.

i am such a blue-eyed pleb, didn't even think to consider privacy with them 🤦‍♂️ really good point, ty

i guess i was more curious about the actual product quality etc

Probably mostly fine on quality. I think a lot of those are returned purchases that had nothing wrong with them - but sometimes used.

yeah, looking to get the most bang for buck option for my laptop, definitely have to see what's out there

Never had any issues. Got both.

no battery life issues?

Actually none. My gf just not a refurb iphone a couple months back. Works really well actually.

damn, some local vendor or a global marketplace?

unless it's a secret

eBay, from a highly rated vendor usually
