If you’re so confident that housing is such a great investment, then why does the US government need to own or backstop 90% of US mortgages?

While playing Fiat Games, the governmental underwrite is precisely that reason that it is a ‘good investment.’

Especially if you intend to ‘mortgage mine’ #Bitcoin by using the equity.

Although I will concede, that is an argument lost on the average, norm ie in-law.

Bitcoin eventually eats the monetary premium of housing and also destroys the speculative attack mechanism. Many Bitcoiners will get liquidated because of that leverage. Stack humble and stack sats.
