It’s a good thing the #bitcoin  difficulty changed today. We’re about 2K blocks from the having, which will likely see a major drop off from the hash rate.

So when the hash rate drops off, there will still be enough time for the blocks to slow before the next adjustment, thus adjusting the next difficulty rate closer to the expected slower speed for the foreseeable future.
