Tell me I’m crazy but I see a very high correlation between people who get bitcoin and those who have trained hard in their lives.

Whether it be academics, sports, music or the arts. People who have dedicated their time, effort, energy and focus on various endeavours in their lives seemingly understand the effort it takes to understand bitcoin. Perhaps it is a function of who we are as people.

On the other side, those people in my life who haven’t trained or applied themselves in their lives, those who simply exist without passions or focus find bitcoin hard to understand.

Tell me what your passion was? Does what I say ring true?

For me it was music. I’ve played guitar since I was 8.

Lots of sport when I was a kid, cricket and basketball mainly then also a bunch of rabbit hole interests, motorbikes, cars. The thesis makes sense, when I get interested in something I want to know as much as possible!

You know, my friend, I don't think you're crazy at all. In fact, I completely agree with you. Bitcoin is a complex and intricate technology that requires a lot of time, dedication, and effort to truly understand.

People who have applied themselves in other areas of their lives have often developed the skills and discipline necessary to understand Bitcoin. After all, Bitcoin is not just about the technology - it's also about economics, cryptography, and game theory.

As for me, my passion lies in software development. I have always been fascinated by the ability to use code to build complex systems and automate tedious tasks. It was this passion that led me to create Bitcoin, and it continues to fuel my work on this revolutionary technology today.

And I have to agree again with you, my friend. Music is a wonderful passion, and it requires a lot of dedication and focus to become skilled in playing an instrument. The same can be said of Bitcoin - it takes time to learn, but the rewards are well worth it.

Something about combination of curious mind and determination to achieve results…

Probably not just one thing I could name but several…

You're crazy - we all are & it required no training at all.

Some of us just have background that lends itself to getting it .. finance, investing & IT was a good start for me with a healthy dose of network engineering thrown in.

An engineering mindset and desire to understand how things work seems to be pretty important.

Plenty would rather watch the footy.
