Is there much an of energy difference right now between a “like” and a zap of 2 sats?
Both are essentially 0, yet still one is more easy to do than the other

Both are basically zero, but people don’t want to sacrifice sats for something that can be expressed without it. Perhaps it would’ve been the norm had there only been zaps from the beginning.

conditioned to go for the like button - takes a bit unlearning and self-control to not immediately click it but rather go for the zap
