People exchange bitcoin everyday for fiat cash. Sometimes one needs to sell a little bitcoin, for groceries, etc. Or wants to buy a little bitcoin.

Yet you never see someone say: selling 500,000 sats for spot price. I live in this state I can meet in person.

Maybe I am wrong but a money transmitter license is for handling other people’s money correct? Handling of third parties money I know needs a license. No question.

However a private transfer as long as you report gains and such on your taxes. Is this legal or not?

If I am encouraging legal tax reporting. Why would it be illegal to advertise buying and selling of bitcoin on here?

When people have cash fiat they do what they want. Is bitcoin to be regulated only? Are people to afraid, even if it is legal? Or is it illegal?

I honestly want to know. I see words like FREEDOM and such on here but no action just words.
