#Real estate is a terrible investment unless you plan on living on/in it yourself.
There are no assets less portable, expensive to maintain, harder to sell, or easier to confiscate than real estate.

In comparison to bitcoin I absolutely agree. However I do believe in the business of being a good landlord being beneficial to the community and also a safe business model, even more so without leverage as a good source of cashflow.
