everyone on twitter is contantly reaffirming how bad the world is and how fucked we are…

this cannot be healthy.

i think there is a point where doomerism & “waking up to the reality of the world” becomes useless.

i don’t know if humans are intrinsically addicted to doom or if the addiction is a product of high-level energy harvesters programming the algos.

either way i feel my energy dip within a few minutes of scrolling.

thank god for nostr lol

I think social engineering keeps humans in low vibrations for the energy harvesters, and it has gotten to the point where the masses pursue safety, rather than happiness. Too many are preoccupied with the question, "What if something bad happens?"

Also, advertisers believe that happy people won't buy their junk, and Twitter aims to make their advertisers happy, not their users.

right. that makes a lot of sense. unhappy people probably buy more stuff😂

Valid point

It's unique to media in developed nations and cultures. Go to remote unpriveledge villages in Central or South America or Africa. Native peoples there seem happy and content with life. Ignorance is bliss.

the scourge of modernity is an over abundance of information

To be honest, Twitter is highly diluted. The freedom of speech is being misused on that platform.
