I stopped recommending Ledger a while ago.
Not only have they „lost“ sensitive customer data more than one time, added KYC to their recover option, they literally want to spy on your behavior.
Get off and use something that respects your privacy.

I'm genuinely confused why anyone has trusted them with their funds and personal data after they had a breach that involved people's home addresses.
I think most people miss news like that. Last time someone said to me: every companies data is getting breached, so that’s not a problem for me I’m still using Ledger. 🫣
For me the most important point was about their secure element:
They marketed it as a HW that cannot send private key outside, just use it for signing. And that is the reason why it is more secure than competitors. Then they proofed they lied and it is just about the right firmware.
