It helps explain social media. Being social is rooted in human nature, but the internet is new. Being able to socialize with ppl around the world instantly is different than being in the same room with someone. That’s why ppl act differently on social media than irl. Joe rogan has been talking about this for years, why he doesn’t read comments. If uk I wouldn’t say something if they were standing right next to you, why say it online?
