When i first followed jack i commented on one of his "freedom of speech" posts that he owed Tim Pool an apology.

He asked why.

I pointed out Mr Pool was telling him he had a problem in his business and a blind spot in how he viewed the world.

Crickets.

Thats the last and only interaction i've ever had with the man and sums it all up really.

As someone who used Twitter since 2011, I've seen how "management" managed things, especially post 2019.

The fact that under him, in Twitter they had like 3000 grifters doing basically nothing and getting a check, was also a red flag.

Imo he's a major part of "trusted third parties" that satoshi warned us about

He's human, same as us. Same foibles, same desires, same needs.

Nothing much has changed in 250 thousand years.

As i pointed out on another post, bitcoin fixes a lot of problems.

Human nature isn't going to be one of them.

If bitcoiners have one flaw, it would be utopian thinking.

We've tried that.

We're still coumting the bodies.

The fact that Elon could fire 75% or more of twitters staff and it still functions shows just how bloated any large organisation can become.

I find it interesting that nostr fixes that, because it's empowered by bitcoin, not specifically because bitcoin exits. Though an argument can be made for that possibility. Bitcoin opened the door to crypto currency. nostr wouldn't work nearly as well with out that.
