In real capitalism built on sound money you have to be productive to get richer. If you are not productive, your wealth melts like an icecube (the speed depends on your lifestyle) because your expenses > income

In pseudo-capitalism built on Fiat you just have to be rich to get richer. No productivity needed once you are rich. On the other hand, for productive people it's almost impossible to escape the hamster wheel and accumulate wealth.

In socialism the central planners decide what each one gets. Being more productive does not have any impact on your well being. Productivity drops like a rock. If everyone owns everything, noone cares about anything.

What people think are the consequences of capitalism is really just late stage Fiat.
