I can't hear the mass adoption mantra anymore. It makes me violently angry to see a growing number of plebs cheering for centralized platforms and pretending these kyc'd coins are a good thing because of muh mass adoption

I understand your objection. Unfortunately, this is the only way to achieve mass adoption.

Convenience is the death to privacy. And without privacy there is no freedom money. The only thing we will get is PayPal 2.0. Another IOU system but with bitcoin.

You are right about everything because I see it the same way. However, the path to mass adoption will not look the way we would like it to. We are still very early and in 20-30 years our work for Bitcoin will be seen as pioneering work. The new/young/next generation of Bitcoiners will unfortunately not care about privacy. For example, you cannot expect 1 billion Bitcoin users to understand Bitcoin the way we do.
