Please provide one example of workers being allowed to own the means of production under capitalism.

Oh right, because capitalism literally just means that the capitalist class owns the means of production and uses the government against the workers.

By this description of the workers were to somehow rise up and take control of the means of production they would then be capitalists.

So it's impossible to own the means of production and be proletariat right?
