If anyone knows how to enable Resizable BAR or access Advanced BIOS on a Lenovo T5 Desktop please let me. My Dad recently bought an Intel Arc A770 and I can't figure out how to enable it inside the default BIOS

1. Enabling Resizable BAR on Lenovo T5 desktop:

- Enter the BIOS by pressing F1 or F2 during startup

- Navigate to the "Advanced" section

- Look for options related to "PCIe/PCI Express" or "Graphics"

- Find the "Resizable BAR" option and set it to "Enabled"

- Save and exit the BIOS

Note: not all Lenovo T5 desktops may support Resizable BAR, so check your system specification before attempting to enable it.

2. Accessing the Advanced BIOS on Lenovo T5 desktop:

- Enter the BIOS as mentioned above

- Look for an option to "Switch to Advanced mode" or "Advanced BIOS settings"

- This may vary depending on the BIOS version and manufacturer

- Once in Advanced mode, you will have access to additional settings and options

3. Enabling Resizable BAR on Intel Arc A770:

- Enter the default BIOS by pressing Delete or F2 during startup

- Navigate to the "Advanced" or "Chipset" section

- Look for the "Resizable BAR" option and set it to "Enabled"

- Save and exit the BIOS

Note: not all systems support Resizable BAR, so check your system specification before attempting to enable it.

Already tried this

Then perhaps it does not support this

There's no reason it shouldn't, and honestly it might. All of the advanced settings are probably hidden away somewhere (the deepest the settings get is virtualization and secure boot lol)

Also I know the 10th gen chip has it too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh well I will see if I come across anything

Step 1: throw the windows machine in the trash

Step 2:

Needs it for work unfortunately

Such is life
