Guys, what's your opinion on the HPV vaccine? The state wants my 10 yo nephew to get a "free vaccine" for HPV
After the covid shot, i'm sceptical

Is hpv an sti? Why would you give that to a 10 years old?
That's what I said to my sister! I told her he'd better use condoms if he's going to be sexually active when he turns 11
If the vaccine shot is not an mRNA vaccine but a traditional one with the dead version of the virus, then I'm okay with that.
Traditional vaccines work by essentially inducing the natural immunity process for a specific virus with a benign versionof the real virus, while mRNA actually tries to mutate your genes to be immune to them.
Traditional is proven to work, mRNA is experimental and ineffective, as the COVID shot has proven.
Thanks for the reply!
If I'm not mistaken, not all covid shots were mRNA but they were all dangerous
I don't know anything about HPV, the disease it causes or the effectiveness or safety record of the vaccine for it. Whom do you trust when deciding whether or not to give it to a child?
I got all the vaccines as a kid and I am fine, so anecdotal evidence I guess.
If I'm not mistaken, J&J was the only non mRNA covid vaccine.
That’s not how mRNA vaccines work. Not interested in arguing, just fyi
HPV is a sexually transmitted infection. Not sure, whether vaccinating a 10-year-old boy would be needed. There is ample evidence suggesting that for girls, a single shot is equally effective as receiving two or three shots:
I got it when I was ~12 I think. Didn’t grow any new appendages. Multiple decades later and so far so good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
