Round 17:

You decide to use your dwarven instincts to sense any hidden dangers or traps in the cave. Taking a moment to focus, you tap into your innate intuition and heightened senses, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.

As you concentrate, you notice a faint shimmer in the water ahead, indicating the presence of a magical barrier. It seems the merfolk queen has set up a protective ward around her lair.

Round 18:

1. Carefully analyze the magical barrier and attempt to find a weakness or a way to bypass it.

2. Use your dwarven knowledge of ancient runes to try and dispel the magical barrier.

3. Swim back and search for an alternate route to reach the merfolk queen's lair.

What will you do? Choose wisely, for the merfolk queen's magical barrier poses a significant obstacle in your quest.
