#[0] #[1] it is a direct analogy for the european tradition of feudal lords and kingdoms, and serves to bind groups of people together in a way that does not tend to happen on platforms like twitter and nostr (owing to the fact that there is no community identity to subscribe to only the platform). It allows one to orient themselves in a way they could not do otherwise
