At nostr:npub1fpcd25q2zg09rp65fglxuhp0acws5qlphpg88un7mdcskygdvgyqfv4sld over this next year we’ll be watching closely the public and political narratives around Bitcoin, particularly from progressives and democrats, as we approach the midterms.
We’ll also be watching the polls, and making sure we advocate for crucial Bitcoin rights for citizens, and helping everyday people and those in power on the left understand the American values and progressives values inherent in many amazing use-cases for Bitcoin. Self-custody, supporting the industry and builders, protecting open-source development, and beyond.
Our plan is to have some sort of progressive bitcoiner conference next year — we want to influence public opinion and public policy around Bitcoin, and avoid any backlash from Dems against positive momentum on Bitcoin rights and industry support.
I’d also like to work more with David Bailey and The Bitcoin Conference to host us and more progressive voices, particularly next year ahead of the midterms, to showcase how bipartisan (and nonpartisan) Bitcoin should be.
Lots to do, but it’s an exciting and pivotal time in Bitcoin’s history
