May be it will move forward with solutions like Alby extension or @plebstr signing app...

....or smth like "Ledger private keys backup paid cloud service" ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ˜‚Ok.

But what about Trezor Suite signing extension for Nostr? Keys stored in the deviceโ€ฆ

โ€ฆif the privacy matter for youโ€ฆ

I am fine with privacy ๐Ÿ˜„ But when addressing the Ledger bullsh*i, in fact, I missed the whole point. Because as I understand the situation, Trezor guys are not having trouble with privacy, but with the fact that keys to Nostr profile cannot be easily revoked/changed, which would be neccessary whenever the people who know these keys leave the company.

Yeah, right. Nostr doesn't support changing private keys, because that implies changing public keys, and that's a problem for everyone following you. But it could be solved by the separation of knowledge of private keys from a particular person by putting them in a #Trezor device. The person who has the signing device publishes to Nostr. When leave the company passing it to somebody else. It's not an ideal solution, but it might be enough for publishing news on Nostr.

I remembered this conversation during the @kicom stream on Tuesday. @ryzizub there mentioned the HW nostr message signer that Ben Arc demonstrated. Here's more info:

Problem solved!

Understand, thx ๐Ÿ‘

There are procedures for this that have been proven over many decades: passing on the state's official stamps ๐Ÿ˜‰
