They are not hostages, they’re all convicted prisoners. Those not convicted, and we don’t know if any are, yet, in this release exchange would be administrative detainees. Words have meanings, definitions. None are hostages. That’s an improper use of terms that distorts reality

This Palestinian kid was a hostage in an Israeli torture camp. (regardless of what the israeli state claims) not sure why you have a problem recognising that fact. Also, if the UN recognises a genocide, then it's a genocide, regardless of what the zionists and their shills say.

Meanwhile, the Israeli captives released from Gaza recently were active duty IDF soldiers who entered Gaza after October 7th.

So, prisoners of war, not hostages.

As all the civilians taken captive October 7th were already released months ago.
