No we are not. I don't care how bad shit gets as long as I can still mock the globalist agenda with my Nostr frens. But that's the power they want to take from me.
Between Kiwix, IPFS and #reticulum, I think we could manage to regain communications and access to information after some natural disaster or external manmade disaster, even if the govt was useless.
Internet blackout in the case where the govt is actively malevolent worries me, and I fear that's the most probable. No hope of running WiFi or 4G across a national border here in #australia...
How should one prepare?
I think my becoming familiar with not having internet at all. Back up files locally and offline.

- medical records
- offline maps
Data you need to earn a living
- Bitcoin wallet. Useless for the duration, but secure in case your favourite app never comes back online.
- Reference texts
- Manuals
- offline (non-Cloud) software
- Learning resources: books, video
Data you need to be entertained
- personal photos, chat histories, contact lists etc.
- books
- music
- video
- games
Physical stuff
- cheap consumable stuff you usually order online
- cash, for when payment processing is overloaded / ddosed / offline.
What have I missed?
Ive been getting into localy hosted wikis with info I might need for later.
