I see what you mean. It's been talked about many times but I think there is only a few clients who have made lists, tags and filtered words part of their onboarding process (or even optional settings) yet.

It would be nice if clients/apps would already ask the user during his account creation about the things they're interested in and things they're not interested in thus immediately customising their global feed to display content that appeals to the person (rather than penis butter, NIPs, Bitcoin and p0rn).

Right, but this isn’t filtered words. This only allows the option to filter one specific tag.

Currently, but it shows its very possible to have an entire list of filters that are user customizable.
