All you can do with data is describe, technically. You can’t use it to predict.

So it allows you to understand the world probabilistically. But it only is defined by a certain sample within a certain environment.

Anyways, I’m just complaining about people who think they’re good at prediction when I’m reality they’re just really, really good at survivorship bias
