Relai App was already lost years ago, but from now on I’ll consider them outright malicious. It wasn’t enough that their app was closed-source, that they used a bunch of trackers in the past (even Facebook trackers were included) to spy on their customers, forced them to address-reusing and kyc for small amounts although there were never any legal requirements for the latter points but now they are going one step further by forcing their users to take a photo of their faces and send it to the company (before even undergoing the mandatory kyc-process) while selling this as a new security feature. I already warned years ago that Relai is a bad actor in the space. There are a ton of alternatives out there.
