Unfortunately due to the overly byzantine electoral college the associated press really just reports popular votes. The electoral college, however, that has broken with popular vote commonly. I'm just saying, at the end of the day there's not a factual answer. I'm not pro anyone, but irl it's true

There's only so much they can do to alter the dominant narrative
once all the media outlets call it a particular way and the news cycle has gotten carried away it's extremely difficult to change it
The Dems have to be very sure that they're going to be successful if they're going to challenge it in any substantial way
And frankly with the way they've been running campaigns the last couple cycles
I don't think they give a shit
