one of my biggest complaints about nostr. No consistency whatsoever across apps/web clients, even if one has the same relays in all of them. And its not just likes/reactions. I had a few DMs that were sent over a month ago magically show up a day or two ago after logging into to Amethyst (was using Garnet for a few months). Follows/follower lists are often out of sync as well.

that’s a protocol for ya

many of these clients aren’t truly interoperable with one another

they have different ways for rendering the same datasets

yea I get it that its the nature of the beast, and gotta take the good with the bad, but just so frustrating sometimes
