In Thailand today, mobile banking apps can receive payments via PromptPay or Thai Baht CBDC. When making purchases at street food stalls, it’s common to hear an incoming payment notification sound such as “ding 170 baht,” triggered by a reusable QR code. During peak hours, shop staff don’t need to glance at the screen to check the payment amount—they can simply listen to the notification sound.

If a Bitcoin Lightning wallet aims to improve usability for merchants, it could adopt a similar approach by supporting reusable QR codes and customizable audio notifications. These could announce the amount received either in satoshis or in the local currency, allowing shopkeepers to instantly confirm transactions without breaking their workflow.

This is a suggestion based on insights gathered after starting the WelB project, which encourages businesses to accept Bitcoin via Lightning wallets. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication so far.

ในประเทศไทยตอนนี้ โมบายแบงค์กิ้งของไทยสามารถรับเงินผ่านพร้อมเพย์หรือซีบีดีซีไทยบาทได้แล้ว หากคุณไปใช้จ่ายตามร้านสตรีทฟู๊ด คุณจะได้ยินเสียงแจ้งเตือนยอดเงินขาเข้าเช่น “กริ๊ง(เสียงแจ้งเตือน) 170 บาท” ผ่าน reusable QR code หาก Wallet Lightning บิทคอยน์ ต้องการพัฒนา การใช้งานให้เหมาะกับร้านค้ามากขึ้น ที่นิยมรับเงินผ่าน reuseable QR Code ในชั่วโมงเร่งด่วนพนักงานร้านค้าไม่จำเป็นต้อง หันมามองที่ใบแจ้งหนี้เพื่อดูยอดเงินที่โอนเข้ามาแต่สามารถฟังจากเสียงแจ้งเตือนได้เลยในทันทีโดยอาจจะสามารถเลือกปรับแต่งเสียงแจ้งเตือนให้แจ้งเตือนเป็นซาโตชิหรือ Local currency ได้

นี่คือข้อเสนอแนะ หลังจากเริ่มโครงการ WelB ในการเชิญชวนร้านค้ารับบิทคอยน์ผ่าน Lightning Wallet และเห็นปัญหาการใช้งาน ขอบคุณ สำหรับความเหนื่อยยากที่ผ่านมา
