No shit, that's my point. I'm not saying he should mention any name. I'm saying he should deflect when other people ask if he's a Trump supporter. It's a way of stopping people from focusing on any particular politician. Just going into this type of rant with those people hasn't worked and never will. I think it's best to tailor the approach to the person. If it's a blue haired feel the Bern lefty, you might find common ground by responding that Bitcoin can limit the power of Trump. Or whatever the name is.

This sort of hard line approach with people has simply failed. We have to meet people where they are. Or at least I am. Anyone else is free to keep banging their heads against a wall and failing.
Telling people who are stuck in the politics matrix that their guy is bad because they all are is a losing strategy. I'm proposing a sly and roundabout approach to slip through their tribalist mental gate.
