Overheard a coworker at work say to another coworker, “I don’t understand Bitcoin, it’s not backed by anything, it makes no sense. At least the US dollar is backed by gold which makes sense.” For a split second I felt like chiming in as I walked by but ultimately ignored them and kept on working. I realized we are still so early. Never thought I would ever hear a conversation like that in person but it finally happened.
