Web of trust is a shitcoin. It's not every person's responsibility to follow people according to your exact guidelines. Use paid relays and spam reports.
It's not that they follow my interests, Web of Trust is not a definitive solution but it is a part, even so I still understand how hell even big accounts follow bot accounts that don't post anything, which are the link to break the Web of Trust
I was thinking about this the other day. What happens when a real person that used to be pretty normal starts following nasty bots?
The WoT isn't going to fail. They will get a low (but not zero) score. You can still prune low scores.
But if they follow a lot of crap, I'd cut them off.
Does anyone still not know that these accounts give you follow and unfollow so you'll follow them back? They're following all the spam and porn bots when you check their followers... It's impossible for such big accounts to fall for this stupidity... unless it's on purpose… they probably deserve to be unfollowed at least for me
Oh yeah never follow someone ONLY because they followed you. I learned that after a bit. Not only because they might be bots or spammers, there are all kinds of other reasons.
Yeah, and those specifically have something strange: in their lists of followers it doesn't appear that they follow these bots, but when you check the followers of the spam bots, they have these accounts... they are the link that is breaking this
