As a teacher, I've observed various learning methods, some of which reminded me of prison-like structures. I strongly oppose subjecting my child to such an experience because, in its essence, learning should be a joyful pursuit. Unfortunately, some methods strip away the inherent joy of learning, and I want to shield my child from that.
Reflecting on my own upbringing, my parents emphasized the importance of #school for life, #future, and everything in between. As a skeptical child, I had my doubts, unsure if my perspective was valid or if I was simply a rebellious youngster. Now, at 33, I am confident that the conventional schooling experience I underwent lacked meaningful purpose.
