Former New Zealand captain Tim Southee has announced his retirement from Test cricket, citing 18 years of service to the national team. With a career spanning 102 Tests and 385 wickets, Southee is the second-highest wicket-taker for New Zealand, after Richard Hadlee. He will retire following the three-match series against England in November-December.
