If Bitcoin reaches its total addressable market, then its purchasing power growth will decelerate compared to its current rapid growth rate, which lowers the investment hurdle.
Back in the 1800s people bought like 50 year gold-denominated bonds to invest in the railroads.
People invest sound money into things, but the hurdle rate is significant.
