To be loved and respected is not a human right, but a privilege of living in society. Everyone desires it but nobody gets enough. And those ascetics suffering outside of society get none.
We take love for granted, as if it were not a laborious effort on its own. It is, and should be appreciated as such.
When I say I love you, or I respect you for who you are (which I aspire to do for everybody) do not pretend that this is just a simple thing. Love is everything precisely because it is so hard.
Love and respect are a privilege to share, and to share freely, but not one to expect from others. nostr:note13mrvgm53vh96hjfqq446x8ntmr5yvghj2d6hkxgkm7uzgheq0syqdk463v
