We have had for over a year now. It's just not as strict. Repost of the same post only shows once in a day, which allows the author or your follows to repost again to remind you of it.

I want to add a bloom filter (or similar) to mark every single event the user has seen and use that to check if the repost should be shown. Any interest in doing that as well? The idea would be to send it to a relay so if the user changes clients, the other client doesn't show stuff they already saw.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I still see the repost + the original note in my feed if I follow the author. Is that part still needing deduplication?
The procedure right now is a bit complicated, but it will always show if it is over a day and/or you have not seen the original post. When they are too close to one another, the feed algo might load more to make sure you see it, but if you pull to refresh they disappear.
