I live in a country with prolonged summer and terrible humidity. And I can't ever seem to make peace with it. I go by my days alright, but at night the heat keeps me awake. I can do everything but I can't sleep in the heat. The parts of my body touching the bed start to sweat. And I keep sweating under the ceiling fan. I remember one summer I used to play those 3/4/5 hour-long rainfall sounds on youtube at night while my eyes closed. I tried to imagine it was raining outside, so that I could sleep.

It has been tirelessly raining for the past few days. Like the rain has forgotten how to stop. I'm on my bed, ready to sleep now, and this is the situation here. I'm going to sleep in such cozy and comfortable weather with the crazy rain and occasional thunderstorm outside. And when I tell you the sound doesn’t lie! It's filling up all of my being. All of it. What a bliss!
