I'm mostly prolife but I'm ok with retards being killed as babies.

Like, I dont think I would do that even if it were legal but I totally get why someone would. And wouldn't judge them.

Having a retarded child isn't rewarding at all. You get nothing out of it. all those resources going to a child that will never give you grand children. Its better to just let it go and have another child. Probably with a different person.

Most people give away their retarded children to the state to go live in group homes when they turn 21 anyways and never visit them.

Where in from we have an agency that puts our retards to work actually and some actually make decent wages too. It's 100% rewarding to themselves and others to see many of them become self-sufficient in certain categories of their lives. Beyond, a complete vegetable I can't agree with your assessment as well because many of them can't perceive the disgraceful influence soceity has on those less fortunate like those with full cognitive function can and there's something to be admired about that. They don't get depressed about the stupid little shit everyday people do and are thrilled to just enjoy something so simple or be of use in anyway to themselves or others. We are the ones that need to step up and work with them to give them the most fulfilling lives they can possibly have, which in turn fulfills our lives.
