For non kyc, yes HodlHodl is a great option. Worth also looking at:

-Robosats

-Peach

A friend of mine wants to vpn into a place they can use Binance or similar, send their bitcoin, and get non KYC bitcoin back. Risks with this?

You can get shotgun kyc'd. Then it doesn't matter that you use a vpn - if you have to then still give a name and address in that target country.

Is "non-kyc" exchange viable in the uk? Realistically, you're gonna pay in £ by bank. So you're both kyc'd at that point anyway.

Thanks for these recommendations! I couldn't find anyone selling for GBP on robosats and HodlHodl was limited but @peachbitcoin has been fantastic. My only issue is that I want to payout to my nunchuk wallet that uses an air gapped block stream Jade but peach requires you sign a message to confirm wallet ownership and I can't seem to find anyway to do this in nunchuk or on my Jade ?

Why do people use strike on robosats since strike is kyc?
