Alexander the Great is remembered as one of the most powerful and well-known military leaders in history. In his short life, he became the ruler of a vast empire that stretched from Greece to Egypt and all the way to India. He held many important titles, including King (Basileus) of Macedon, leader of the Greek states (Hegemon of the Hellenic League), King of Kings (Shahanshah) of Persia, Pharaoh of Egypt, and even Lord of Asia.

These titles show how much land and power he gained during his many campaigns. What’s even more amazing is that he did all of this before turning thirty-three. Alexander’s leadership, clever battle tactics, and bold vision allowed him to defeat much larger armies and take over powerful kingdoms. Even today, people study his life to learn about war, leadership, and how one person’s ambition can change the world.
