Many people dislike bitcoiners because they cheer when banks collapse, people lose their jobs and inflation is rampant.
Very hard to sympathize with folks who have a hard on for doomsday even if they were right.
Keep educating people BUT don't fucking dance.

You don't have to sympathize with anyone, specially those that ridicule you.
But that is not the case for most people. The most common reaction to bitcoin is not ridicule but dismissal due to being too foreign and mysterious.
Twitter is not representative of how people really feel, it only projects the opinions of the most vocal ones.
Remember that most Bitcoiners do not celebrate others failure. We only hear this from a few maxis. The same goes for Fiat and Altcoin maxis.
