I've a RO filter but it seems to be at the end of it's short life

Is it hooked up to your faucet? Or is it a vessel you pour water through?

It's a vessel. It has a container that you fill up and place on the filter.

Oh nice, I used to have one similar..not sure if it filtered floride..it was just a Britta filter
