No worries!

Wow you guys have so many coins! I’ve never heard of a half dollar that’s wild. These look so cool 🔥 are they all silver? I had a feeling there was one called a nickel

I still flip coins to make decisions too 😂

I like the one with the exchanging of the sword ❤️‍🔥 looks so cool

Ah man, I feel you, a few years ago I tried to read it and it didn’t click, I couldn’t get through it. I put it down and gave it another go last year and fell in love with her writing. It’s amazing to think she wrote that on a date at just 19 years old. Definitely give yourself a break 🫂

Mate, i do that too! 🤣 when I want to read something but nothing heavy I read some of my old school books by Jaqueline Wilson or Sophie Kinsella or something about vampires or witches. Something silly but fun. I’ll check out that Ruby Holler book

Your way makes way more sense 🫂 my way is rather messy 😂. Takes so long too, but I’m just so aware that I’m going to be 30 this year, and these London drivers are mad so that could cut my life down by quite a bit 😂 I may never get to read half the books on my shelf. But I don’t just want to read them, I want to understand them and connect with them, so even if I don’t get to read half as much as I would have liked, the ones I do read will really resonate with me for a long long time. I won’t read every book this slowly though, just the ones that require it 🙏🏽

There’s a good chance I’ll still be reading infinite jest in 2 years

I just really like Mortimer Adler’s views on reading and education, he’s so charming

These bad boys are all quarters made out of copper/nickel alloy. Maybe worth more as metal eventually. It's funny you like the one that says SARATOGA BRITISH SURRENDER 1777 😂🤣

I honestly need a shortlist of lighthearted books that, when I read them, don't make me think about terrible things. I really didn't help myself reading Catcher in the Rye, Heart of Darkness, and the Creature from Jekyll Island all in a row ☠️ But now actually I want to focus and finish recording the audiobook for Softwar (and I'm definitely going to count it towards my goal).

I like the quality > quantity approach tbh. It might be worthwhile to consider just doing that myself. Every book I've been reading just leaves me with so much to think about, it's hard to pick up the next one. Or in Frankenstein's case, too much to think about while I'm reading it.

What's Mortimer have to say about that? I'd really want to know actually. I'd always had such a poor relationship with reading and education growing up 🤣
