#beardstr I need help. The other day I was walking, felt a sharp pain in my foot, checked the sole and pulled a sliver out and a drop of blood came out with it. The sliver …was one of my just trimmed beard hairs!!

How can I soften my beard? I’ve tried some beard oils but I don’t like the strong smell generally and so give up. Have any of your faced this and won?

My wife also would like to know.

Also, if it's longer than half an inch you should be using shampoo and conditioner on it in the shower. It's hair, not skin. Never let oil stripping face scrubs touch your beard.

I miss my long beard. I started working in a restaurant a couple months ago so I have to keep it trimmed down to a stubble now. I look ten years younger than I actually am without a full beard.
